Moralfibre is a Limited Liability partnership based in India. It was founded by Shailini Sheth Amin in 2012 to revive and re-invent the handcrafted Khadi cloth and other materials such as peace silk. Moralfibre is making design and technology inputs to artisans and their co-operatives to make this fabric suitable for today’s textile marketplace and supply cycle. Today, they export into eighteen different countries. Moralfibre has helped support over 100 small artisan businesses and their skills; including spinners, weavers, dyers, block makers, printers, and more. With the automation of textile production, many of these artisan co-operatives would otherwise run out of business, and their specialised skill set and communities would be diminished.
